Raw v0.9.0.7 footage of an entire multiplayer match playing as Soviet Kirov Airship. P.S. This was recorded during a planned Game Night hosted in the Apocalypse Rising Discord server, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Red Alert 2. In addition, the 0.9.0.7 update was also dropped during this Game Night, featuring balance changes and fixes for some units and maps. Despite its iconic presence in the Red Alert franchise, the Kirov Airship is a situational unit against a well coordinated Allied team in Apocalypse Rising, owing to its expensive price and slow speed, making it the main focus of anti-air forces like Harriers and IFVs. Even 1 Patriot Missile Site is enough to take down a lone Kirov before it can wreak havoc on the Allied base. With this in mind, for this particular match I experimented on using the Kirov as a tanky bomber against Allied armor columns. It was only partially successful as it only caused the enemy to focus on the Kirov instead of Soviet ground troops, but not enough to breach the Allied base.
