Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Gen-Y 2-Tang Clevis for 2 1/2 inch hitch receivers, has a 21,000 pound gross towing weight capacity. Now, this is a hitch-mounted, 2-tang clevis, which is great for industrial and agricultural applications, can be used as a clevis hitch by using a clevis pin through here or a ball mount for towing. The platform right here with the hole in it can be used as a ball mount when you're doing standard towing. The diameter of the hole opening here for the ball or the clevis pin is 1 1/4 inches. This is a sturdy steel construction, they do use a zinc primer and then a black epoxy powder coat on it to resist corrosion. Now, when you do install this in the hitch, it does require a hitch pin and clip or a hitch lock, those are not included, we do sell those separately on our website. The hitch pin hole diameter is 5/8 of an inch. This part is made in the USA. Again, the application, this slides into a 2 1/2 inch by 2 1/2 inch trailer hitch receiver. Gross towing weight capacity on this is 21,000 pounds, tongue weight capacity is 2,000 pounds. Give you a few measurements on this. If we do the overall length from the end to this end, it's gonna be right at 13 3/4 inches. The tang height, which is the measure from the bottom tang to the top tang, right at four inches. And then the distance from the center hole of the ball pin hole right here to the center of the closest hitch pin hole, it goes center to center right here, it's gonna be right at 9 5/16 of an inch, and those holes are an inch apart, so if we go to the furthest to the center, it's 10 5/16 of an inch. But that should do it for the review on this Gen-Y 2-Tang Clevis for 2 1/2 inch hitch receivers..
