UPDATE: Setting Global Shadow Quality to HIGH will also increase the distance at which enemies have shadows. Also on MED some people find the distance at which shadow quality degrades to be distracting as you move around the map. If you can spare the FPS, consider turning this one to HIGH. Optimized CSGO Settings: Global Shadow Quality: MEDIUM Model / Texture Detail: HIGH Texture Streaming: DISABLED Effect Detail: HIGH Shader Detail: HIGH Boost Player Contrast: ENABLED Multicore Rendering: ENABLED Multisampling Anti-Aliasing Mode: 8X MSAA FXAA Anti-Aliasing: DISABLED (currently not working) Texture Filtering Mode: ANISOTROPIC 16X Wait for Vertical Sync: DISABLED Motion Blur: DISABLED (currently not working) Use Uber Shaders: ENABLED UPDATE: MSAA setting will have a much larger performance impact on older video cards. Recommendation is still 8x for GTX 900/1000/2000/3000 series or equivalent. UPDATE: Some online resources say that Effect Details affects fire smoke differently at different distances.
