Khwarizm Shah & Mongols Ep 44 | How Did Sultan Jalaluddin Defeat Chughtai Khan The Son of Genghis!

In Khwarizm Shah & Mongols Ep 44*, witness the thrilling battle between **Sultan Jalaluddin* ⚔️ and **Chughtai Khan**, the formidable son of **Genghis Khan**! 🏇🔥 This episode explores the *strategy, bravery, and resilience* 💪 of Sultan Jalaluddin as he faces off against the mighty Mongols, defying the odds in an intense clash of swords and tactics. 🛡️⚔️ From narrow escapes to bold counterattacks, this showdown is one for the ages! 🎭🔥 Prepare for a gripping historical tale filled with *courage, warfare, and the will to survive!* 🏹⚔️ Will Jalaluddin’s determination be enough to change history? 🌍✨ The most significant battle involving Jalal al-Din Mangburni and Chagatai Khan was the Battle of the Indus in 1221. This battle was part of the Mongol conquest of the Khwarazmian Empire, where Jalal al-Din, the last Khwarazmian ruler, attempted to resist the Mongols led by Genghis Khan, with Chagatai Khan playing a key role in the campaign. Before this battle, Jalal al-Din had achieved a rare victory against the Mongols at the Battle of Parwan, which angered Genghis Khan and led him to personally pursue Jalal al-Din. The Mongols, including Chagatai Khan, caught up with Jalal al-Din’s forces near the Indus River, where the Khwarazmian army initially held strong defensive positions. However, the Mongols eventually outflanked them, leading to a decisive Mongol victory. Jalal al-Din famously escaped by riding his horse off a cliff into the Indus River, an act that impressed Genghis Khan so much that he ordered his archers not to fire at him. Chagatai Khan continued to pursue Jalal al-Din after the battle, demonstrating the Mongols’ relentless approach to warfare. However, Jalal al-Din managed to evade capture and later attempted to rebuild his forces in India and Persia Jalal al-Din Mangburni briefly took control of Tabriz in the early 13th century after fleeing from the Mongols. Following his defeat at the Battle of the Indus in 1221, he regrouped and sought to establish a power base in northwestern Iran. In 1225, he launched a campaign against Atsiz, the ruler of Tabriz, who was a vassal of the Seljuk Sultanate of Rum. Jalal al-Din successfully captured the city, marking a temporary resurgence of Khwarazmian power in the region. However, his rule over Tabriz was short-lived. He faced continuous challenges from the Mongols, local rulers, and internal instability. His inability to consolidate power led to further struggles, and he was eventually forced to abandon his ambitions in the region. Jalal ad-Din sought to re-establish the Khwarazm kingdom, but he never fully consolidated his power. In 1224, he confirmed Burak Hadjib, ruler of the Qara Khitai, in Kerman, and received the submission of his brother Ghiyath, who had established himself in Hamadan and Isfahan, and the province of Fars, and clashed with the Caliph An Nasser in Khuzestan, from whom he captured parts of Western Iran. The next year, he dethroned the Uzbek Muzaffar al-Din, ruler of the Eldiguzids, and set himself up in their capital of Tabriz on 25 July 1225. That same year, he attacked Georgia, defeating its forces in the battle of Garni, and captured Tbilisi
