I've Got A Feeling I'm Falling Words and Music by Billy Rose, Harry Link and Thomas 'Fats' Waller Performed by Willard Robison and His Levee Loungers Willard Robison - piano and vocal Recorded March 12, 1929 Columbia unissued (Mx W148432-B) Willard Robison, better known through his long career as as a composer of laments and blues. The jazz-band touch is prevalent in the background even through the saxophone solo; and Robison, who also sings, comes on with a high light casual voice, doing a strict tempo verse and second chorus and then giving away to a purely jazz third chorus. Great solos by clarinet, saxophone, trumpet and trombone and a steady driving rhythm guitar, probably Eddie Lang. The other musicians on this recording are not identified.
