This is one of GM’s trademark ways to improve fuel economy under light loads. All C7 corvettes, manual and automatic have AFM except for the ZR1. AFM is present in manual transmission cars in ECO mode. So why is Active Fuel Management a huge risk to your engine and your transmission?
