In this Blender, Cycles and Eevee-based workflow, we'll animate the lid bursting wide open. (Pro tip: make explosion noises with your mouth to get the effect just right.) We'll see how to get the coin burst perfect, with just enough scattering of the coins without them leaving the viewframe too much. We will be using active and passive rigid bodies for the effect. The bullet-time slow-down effect will help us achieve the captivating slow motion burst. We will do this by lowering the keyframe rate. Once we bake our simulation - it's time for the camera! We'll position the camera perfectly. And, of course, what's an explosion without camera shake? We'll use that, too. For lighting, we'll start with a nightime HDRI environment texture, but we'll hue shift it to look better. We'll add some warm, saturated lights as well and throw in one cool light.
