Gendhing: IMAWINENDA, (kethuk 4 arang, laras slendro, pathet nem) 　　 グンデン：イモウィネンド　 (k4a スレンドロ音階ヌム調) This is a recording of two instrumental gamelan pieces in the gendhing bonang style which have been handed down in the Kraton Surakarta Hadiningrat, the Palace of the Royal Family of Surakarta, Central Java. The Kraton Surakarta has, since the middle of the 18th century, been a center for the arts of music, dance and literature in the city of Solo(Surakarta). The present recording was made on the night of the 7th of June, 1992, at the ceremonial building of the Kraton palace known as the Pendapa Sasana Sewaka, using a beautiful pair of gamelan sets made in the latter half of the 19th century. One of the sets named Kyai Kadukmanis is tuned in the pelog scale, while the other named Kyai Manisrengga is in the slendro scale. 　このCDには、クラトン・スロカルト・ハディニングラッ(スロカルト王家)に伝承されている、グンデン・ボナンというスタイルのガムランの器楽曲が2曲収められている。 クラトン・スロカルトは、インドネシアのジャワ島中部の古都ソロにあり、8世紀半ば以降、音楽・舞踏・文学などの諸芸術において、豊かな伝統を作り上げてきた。 　当曲の収録は1992年6月7日夜、クラトン・スロカルトの儀礼のための主殿プン ドポ・サソノ・セウォコにて、19世紀後半に作られた美しいガムランの楽器セット、キャイ・カドマニスと、キャイ・マニスルンゴを用いて行われた。 ・musicians Perfoming are thirteen musicians belonging to the group Pawiyatan Kraton Surakarta led by G.R.A. Kose Murtiyah: Mlayawidada(bonang), Saptana(kendhang gedhe), Soewita(ketipung), Tarnapangrawit(gong gedhe), Soewardi(saron), Mulyana(slenthem) etc. ・演奏家 ムロヨ・ウィドド氏を中心に、G.R.A. クス・ムルティヤをリーダーとするパウィヤタン・クラトン・スロカルトの演奏家たち13人が演奏に参加している。 ボナン：ムロヨ・ウィドド，　クンダン・グデ：サプトノ，　クンダン・クディポン：スウィト，　ゴング・グデ：タルノ・パングラウェッ，　サロン：スワルディ 他4人，　スルントゥム：ムルヨノ，　他 Mlayawidada 1911-1997 Gamelan player 　Mlayawidada is one of the most highly regarded court musicians of the 20th century. Born in Solo in1911, he was a young court gamelan player through the golden age of the court's artistic activities before World War Ⅱ , and thereafter continued his career as a major symbol of traditional court music. He taught his followers up until his death on the 20th of February, 1997. 　Several years before his death, the Kraton Surakarta gave him the higher-class name, K.R.T.Widadanagara, but since he had long been known and respected with the formaer name, he no doubt will be remembered by that name forever. ムロヨ・ウィドド　1911-1997 不世出のガムラン奏者　1911年にジャワ島中部の古都ソロ市の宮廷芸術家の家系に生まれた。 宮廷ガムランの輝かしい時代を生き、その精神の象徴として、亡くなる直前まで、演奏活動と後継の弟子たちの薫陶に余念がなかった。 数年前にクラトンからより位の高い称号を貰い、亡くなった時の氏の名は、K.R.T.ウィドド・ナゴロであったが、ムロヨ・ウィドドの名が余りにも名高く、人々の敬愛を集めているため、ここではこれを用いている。
