An island paradise, boasting some of Thailands best dive sites and the coastal view points were second to none of the region, but every rose has it thorns and this island is no exception.We’re talking about Koh Tao, but of course not everyone has heard the history this island has endured, even more so, with it being nick named as death island. During our time in this region, we’d heard people discussing the atrocities of what had happened there. It honestly was a bit nerving but we felt comfortable enough and confident in our decision to proceed and visit the island. Fortunately, we had no relatable experiences and saw a totally different side to the island. 👫 About us: Oh & we should probably introduce ourselves... We are Benny and Meeka, a travel couple from Australia who have been travelling on and off for 10 years and even lived in the UK from 2019 - 2021. We are currently in SE Asia and are making our way back to the UK to reunite with our Mercedes Sprinter van we purchased before the world shut down and we left back to Aus.
