Trip Report | Avianca A319 Premium Cabin | Quito to Baltra island

Flying onboard an Avianca A319 from Quito to Baltra Island in the Galapagos. This flight also included a stopover in Guayaquil to drop off & pick up passengers. Passengers continuing onto Baltra Island were asked to remain onboard while the aircraft was being refueled. Premium seats on this aircraft took up rows 1-3 and were configured in a 2-2 configuration. I felt very mixed about this experience. The service level was the same as economy class, as no food/drink was included in the ticket price & The setback IFE unfortunately was not working either. However, the seat itself was very comfortable for a domestic first recliner and was a worthwhile upgrade given that it was only an additional $30 total for both segments of the trip.
