[KR] WinGD의 2행정otto cycle 엔진에 iCER (Intelligent Control by Exhaust Recycling)이 2020년에 소개되었고, 이 개념은 디젤모드 및 가스모드에서 에너지 소모량을 줄여 GHG 방출량까지 낮추는 개념이다. 또한 이 iCER의 컨셉에 더하여 VCR (Variable Compression Ratio)을 개발하여, 압축비를 디젤엔진 수준까지 올리며 엔진의 효율을 높이고 연료 소모량도 낮추는 개념이 도입되었다. 가스모드와 디젤모드에서 현격한 연료소모량과 GHG방출량을 낮추는 개념이다. [EN] X-DF-2.0 technology was introduced in 2020 to further improve the platform’s environmental footprint. iCER (Intelligent Control by Exhaust Recycling) technology options provide a significant reduction in energy consumption in both gas and diesel mode. With X-DF2.0 both methane slip and total GHG emissions are reduced in gas mode, while in diesel mode iCER lowers GHG emissions. The recently introduced on-engine configuration of iCER reduces the engine room space needed for emissions reduction equipment as well as offering simpler installation and commissioning. All WinGD engines currently in service can be converted to X-DF engines. The VCR (Variable Compression Ratio) concept improves the performance and fuel consumption of the engines, and consequently, the CO2 footprint of conventional diesel engines and X-DF dual fuel alike and makes the technology attractive for both new building and retrofit solutions.
