On the back of riding Griesdale Pike recently, another peak in the Lakes that i had set my sights on riding was Blencathra. Located just outside Keswick this impressive mountain looked to have everything i wanted from a mountain bike ride. This turned out to be an incredibly technical MTB ride but featured some amazing panoramic views of the surrounding lake district region. The uphill climbs were pretty tame and steady which was a total contrast to the steep, exposed, and rocky ridge riding that would follow on the descent down Doddick Fell Ridge. Certainly not one for the faint hearted. The kind of ride that the camera angle will never do justice too. Blencathra stands at 868m. #lakedistrict #trailriding #mtb #mountainbiking #insta360 #mtbbike #mtbstunt If you're new to the channel, heres a breakdown of everything in the video.
