Truck - Broken Chair 1974 Truck was a pop group from Singapore & Malaysia, consisting of three members from another Malaysian band The October Cherries. The members were Diaz and two brothers by the surname of Shotam (first names not known). Their only release, Surprise, Surprise, was issued on Baal Records in 1974 and was heavily influenced by The Beatles and reminiscent of the music recorded by Peru's We All Together around the same time. Despite its year release this band from Malaysia did release a pretty fine album full of good melodies, best compared with The Beatles "White Album" era. Jay Shotam (bs, lead vcls) and Peter Diaz (lead gtr) were previously members of The October Cherries. Shotam's brother and vocalist Jeremyh Star completed the lineup.
