Lego Flying Saucer

This was a very difficult and fun project to work on. Everybody's seen the curved pieces that Lego uses for round surfaces, but for this I wanted a larger disk, which meant a circle made of bricks, and that was pretty difficult. I had to build a sort of octagon, and sandwich it between two layers of traditionally curved parts. The how-to-build section of this video is probably more interesting than the rest. I dunno. I really like how it turned out. The cockpit is super stylized, and the alien on the left has some pretty cool controls. However, I put basically no effort into the aliens themselves. They're just some spiky humans really. Also, the last couple videos I've uploaded were taken basically all at once, and they were all pretty dim and grainy for some reason. Which makes them kinda icky to look at. I'll try to get more light for my next videos.
