PAINTING VIDEO DESCRIPTION – This canvas painting tutorial will take you through easy step-by-step instructions on how to draw and paint this fun and comical still life portraiture image painting of "COFFEE LOVER’S DREAM” with acrylic paint. Espresso, cappuccino, mochaccino, Arabica, Lattee Irish, Café Au Lait, and even Black, I love all coffee. If was trapped on an island for a year and could only bring five items with me, one would be a coffee maker and the second would be a truckload of the joyful java. Seriously, if you eliminated coffee from my life, I would cease to exist. I’m a functioning coffee-holic. A good cup-o-joe is the only way to jumpstart my day—I wake up, walk downstairs, immediately brew a K-cup of French Vanilla or Hazelnut, stand impatiently for 90 seconds while I wipe the crusties out of my eyes, grab the hot filled-to-the-rim mug when it’s done, load it with creamer and stevia, sit on the porch, gather my thoughts and sip away until my body is ready to get moving for the day. I know that spas in Germany offer beer baths, yup, you can actually soak yourself in a tub of beer. Supposedly it helps your muscles relax and exfoliates the skin. Well, anyway, the Germans seem to be on to something because if there was a spa offering coffee baths anywhere near where I live, I’d be first to dive right in. It’s really not that far-fetched considering you can already buy coffee shampoo and soap on Amazon. So, join me and paint with acrylics this exciting, fun and easy portrait figure image of a person bathing in a cup of brew and capture a moment fit for any coffee enthusiast! The first lesson you’ll learn in this easy beginner painting tutorial is how to blend colors to create a soft teal to paint the whole background with, creating a warm and inviting café vibe to your canvas. The perfect backdrop for taking a bath in the warm sultry stimulant. After learning how to draw a coffee mug, ladder, towel, coffee beans, and a lounging lady, using an easy dot-to-dot method, you’ll use primary colors and a directional brushstroke to paint a base coat for your objects. Then you’ll paint highlights and shadows on the coffee mug for added depth and form, creating roundness giving it a 3-D photographic appearance as if you can just reach and grab the mug right off the canvas. You’ll then use this same painting method for your ladder, towel and person to give them dimension. Use your imagination to change the beverage to hot cocoa or wine or tea. You’ll finish your classic masterpiece with your own personal signature. Using only 2 brushes, and 6 colors, during this art lesson, you’ll create the best canvas painting in the world! Paint loosely and make it an abstract painting, paint with oils and make it fine art, use bold yellows and red and make it pop art! Not just an inspirational painting with a storybook illustration narrative, but an easy painting for beginners. Paint at home, alone, or with friends! Have a date night, paint party, or virtual paint night. Paint with gouache, oil paint, or water colour, any medium will work!
