Understanding facts is easy through our 5 natural senses of sight, hearing, smell, taste & touch. We rapidly and accurately assess a situation if we have received training to recognize certain signs. Doctors for example receive over 5 years of medical facts. Nowadays with sophisticated blood tests and scanners they can provide us with precise information on many diseases /disabilities. That’s why their word is taken as absolute truth, not to be challenged. Many conditions baffle even highly specialized doctors. Their cause is a mystery which cannot easily be known by logical intelligence. God has however an alternative method of providing answers. A mystery doesn’t need high intelligence. It needs revelation.. Faith in the truths revealed in God’s Word can access the Mind of Christ. We possess that mind 1 Cor. 2:16 When we speak in tongues, we are speaking that mystery 1 Cor 14:2 This spiritual ability comes with the Baptism of Holy Spirit Acts 2:4 But we need a complementary gift to know what we spoke in our private prayer or in church services. We need to be able to hear the interpretation of that tongue 1 Cor .14:13 to access God’s mind in the spirit. We then can understand mysteries. What hinders us from hearing? Wax in our physical ears makes us deaf. Cold wax goes hard and blocks hearing. But in explaining the key parable of the Sower, Jesus explained why He spoke in parables because the people’s heart is waxed fat which blocks understanding to be healed Mat. 13:15 How does this happen in the end times: Because for most people their love for God will wax cold because of multiplied lawlessness and iniquity. Mat 24:12 Dangers of living nowadays: Rebellion against constituted authority is lawlessness. 2Thes 2 :7 AMPC. This is multiplied in society today. Rebellion is the sin of witchcraft 1 Sam. 15:23 These sins harden our hearts with unbelief and make it impossible to hear the truth. Disciples who had witnessed the feeding of the 5000 and later the 4000 men in the desert knew the facts of the miracle (how many basketfuls of food were left over but ….. They could not discern or understand spiritually the sense of how He could perform the miracles because their hearts were in a settled state of harness. Mark 6:52 Mark 8:17 Warning If we are too ‘plugged into this world’ and don’t take time or thought to consider the truths of God’s Word, our hearts will become like cold wax. In such a state of heart we cannot put truth higher than facts in our way of thinking. Whatever to fail to make the effort to consider we become hardened to and need to seriously repent of any activity or habit that causes this, including bloodline iniquities up to 4 generations in our ancestors Exod. 20:5 Prayer. Father we confess the sins of rebellion of despising Godly authority in the world (teachers, police pastors). It is the sin of witchcraft and we renounce it. We also confess our preoccupation with the pleasures that this world offer. We turn away from sexual sin and gluttony. Give us your grace to actively fight against them Jam. 4:7
