First of all my inspiration comes from many types of R&B music. These songs are a guaranteed natural high! This era of the 80’s was my jam and always made me feel good. After 2nd Nature I sang in a disco band called Hit Explosion in the late 90’s I know I typically sing ballads but I can do up tempo 😉 Rick James reminded me of my uncle so I felt his music on a whole other level. Cool, dynamic and just damn good! O’Bryan had a tone that just resonated with me and I always felt comfortable singing his music as a little boy. Authentic, smooth and one of a kind is O’Bryan. Michael Jackson couldn’t be deeper in my musical psyche. Spanning so many eras I always thought how amazing to sing from your soul the way he did.
