One of the rowdiest nights during King of the Hammers was the Party at Backdoor aka the Real Backdoor Shootout 2019. People from all over flood this Johnson Valley canyon to watch all kinds of off road rigs and johnson valley rock crawlers attempt this infamous climb. There are campfires, a DJ, and some questionable commentating and heckling from the peanut gallery. This is no place for kids. But if you want to watch some people break their junk and listen to the crowd erupt when someone successfully makes the climb then this is your kind of party.
