We're back sailing Delfino and this week it's finally time to leave the Villaine River. Delfino has been here for over two weeks and while it's been lovely to be in sheltered fresh water, we'd been hearing that some people never leave the Villaine (so called the graveyard of ambition) and head back out into the open ocean. So after some boat jobs in Arzal we're heading through the lock and back out into the Atlantic. We sail to La Turballe, from where we were hoping to cross Biscay, but a very calm weather forecast meant we stayed over the weekend and got to experience the extremely French wind festival.
