Open your LibreOffice Base database and go to the Queries section. 2. Click on the Create Query in Design View button to open the Query Design window. 3. Add the tables and fields that you want to include in your query. You can drag and drop them from the Tables section or double-click on them. 4. In the Criteria row of the field that you want to use as a parameter, type a colon followed by a name for your parameter. For example, if you want to filter your data by date, you can type :Date in the Criteria row of the Date field. You can use any name for your parameter, but it should not contain spaces or special characters. 5. Save and run your query. A dialog box will appear asking you to enter a value for your parameter. You can type any valid value for your field type, such as a date, a number, or a text. Click OK to see the results of your query.
