I was looking for a Wi-Fi booster to enhance internet access in weaker Wi-Fi spots in my home. I found this Wi-Fi booster suitable for me since it works with a standard router, 2.4 GHz. It has two external adjustable antennas to ensure maximum Wi-Fi coverage reducing the loss of data transmission. It comes with a UK plug and on the front LED lights for Power, WLAN, WPS, and LAN. This Wi-Fi booster is easy to set up either via Wi-Fi on the PC or phone or via LAN when connected to the router with an Ethernet cable. The user manual has easy-to-follow instructions and gives all the details needed for a successful connection, either way. First, plug in the booster and then choose which configuration is most convenient to use. I chose a Wi-Fi configuration on my phone. In this case, I went to settings on my phone, opened Wi-Fi, and spotted the Wi-Fi repeater there. I pressed on it, and then I went to the browser and typed in the address bar the number given in the user manual. Next, I was prompted to enter a user name and a password (they are also provided in the user manual) and submit. A page with two icons opens; you can choose either AP or Repeater. I chose repeater, and on the next page, I chose my home Wi-Fi and I entered the password for my internet provider. The Wi-Fi booster is now connected to the internet and in order to work it needs to be plugged in halfway between the router and the area with no or low Wi-Fi signal. In this way, the existing Wi-Fi will extend to areas with lower signals and will make it possible to use it to connect mobile devices, TVs, game consoles, PCs, and laptops to the internet.
