Bengia Anthony Launches Campaign Jersey, Highlights Student Welfare Agenda Mr. Bengia Anthony, candidate for the post of Vice President (Admin – Western Zone), AAPSU for the session 2026–29, formally kick-started his campaign with an official jersey launching-cum-workers’ interaction programme, held today amid strong participation from student leaders and supporters. During the programme, Bengia Anthony shared key aspects of his student-centric manifesto, focusing on equal educational access and transparent governance across Arunachal Pradesh. He emphasized the need for establishing CUET examination centres in both eastern and western regions of the state to reduce hardship faced by students, while also advocating for an All India Bar Examination centre to support aspiring law graduates. He further stressed the importance of timely and transparent advertisement of C and D grade posts through APSSB, along with strict implementation of Anti-Ragging Cells in all educational institutions to ensure safe and dignified campuses. Highlighting research concerns, he assured that PhD fellowships must be credited every month without delay, terming it essential for academic continuity. Bengia Anthony stated that his vision is guided by the motto “Raise Your Voice, Shape the Future” and the slogan “United Students, Stronger Tomorrow.” Academically, he holds B.A. and M.A. (Hons.) in Political Science, B.A. LL.B, and is currently pursuing M.A. in History. He is the official candidate of the All Kurung Kumey District Students’ Union (AKKDSU) and appealed to students to remain united for a stronger and more inclusive AAPSU.
