In this clip, Yanga Sobetwa sings at World’s Children’s Prize Ceremony 2022, applauded nu children from around the world and HRM Queen Silvia of Sweden. During the Ceremony, Yanga, a winner of South Africa Idols, also became a Patron of the World's Children's Prize in order to support girls' equal rights. Other Patrons of the World’s Children’s Prize include H.M. Queen Silvia of Sweden, Malala Yousafzai, the late Nelson Mandela and Desmond Tutu, Graça Machel, Xanana Gusmão, and Sweden’s Prime Minister. The World’s Children’s Prize (WCP) Program is one of the the world’s largest annual programs educating and empowering children to become humane changemakers– standing standing up for the equal value of all people, the rights of the child, human rights, democracy, and sustainable development. Since the year 2000, close to 50 million children have participated in the annual WCP Program.
