Police pounced on the trio - alleged to be part of a gang known as G7 - on Thursday morning. It is alleged the G7 crew is one of several groups of contract criminals using the vehicles. “The use of kill cars has emerged as a common denominator in serious and violent crimes linked to organised crime – including murders, kidnappings, and other high-risk offences,” Organised Crime Squad Commander Detective Superintendent Peter Faux said. “These vehicles aren’t just transport; they’re tools of violence. Without them, offenders lose mobility, anonymity, and the ability to commit serious offences. “We’ve had enormous success targeting organised crime by following the money.
