Please watch this in high quality, it sucks without out add &fmt=18 to the end of the URL to make it high quality. Action/Adventure Ok, so please tell me how you like this one. I'm not too sure about this :P I originally made this for Finlass88's contest, and then I decided to make it into a crossover :D I love this song by the way. Ok, so the story goes kind of like this. Pocahontas and John Smith are both free-spirits in oppressive and controlling relationships. (Jane strikes me as the bossy and play it safe type of girl at times) John and Jane's relationship has been suffering, especially since John won't commit and marry her. She feels he is away from home too often chasing after new worlds and having adventures that do not include her. John is going with a company to explore the new world and invest in land and gold. Jane insists that she goes with him, so she can maybe see the appeal in his adventures, also to keep an eye on him and try to make herself apart of his entire life. Jane feels that she is steadily losing John's love. Pocahontas was betrothed to Kocoum without her consent, it was in the best interest of the tribe for her to marry him, so they could have a powerful chief. Kocoum consents to the arrangement, although he does not love Pocahontas, he feels extremely possessive of her and is overly controlling of the places she goes and the people she sees. Even though the Natives and the British are not at odds with eachother yet, they are still wary of one another. A decree has been issued that no English man will approach a native, and the natives will also keep their distance. Pocahontas' curiosity gets the best of her, and she follows the one visitor brave enough to wander off on his own, John. She can already see his wonderful sense of adventure and continues to stalk him through the forest. He catches sight of her, and ignore the decree and offers her his hand. They spend the day together, and the next days he has to see her again. He finds her in the corn field with her best friend, and Pocahontas asks her not to say anything, they leave together just as Kocoum walks over to them. He suspects something. John smith and Pocahontas decide to meet each other that night, John sneaks out of his tent as soon as Jane falls asleep on her cot. Kocoum follows Pocahontas out of the village, Jane wakes and catches John leaving this settlement, she decided to follow him. Kocoum stays quiet and hidden until John and Pocahontas kiss, Jane sees the kiss and the fight and runs back to their tent. The next day, John offers her a flower and his apology, Jane is upset and confused, and angry that she left her comfortable and predictable life just to be with him. She runs and leaves him standing there. John realizes that he still genuinely cares for Jane, and that if he is going to keep her, he will have to settle down. He knows there isn't any long term chance with Pocahontas because of her position in the village. Pocahontas is reprimanded by Kocoum and he rips off her necklace in his jealous rage. He leaves her and she sinks to the ground in her sorrow and shame. Nakoma comes up and confesses that she may have hinted to Kocoum what was happening. Pocahontas realizes that she needs to be more serious as The Chief's wife. Pocahontas goes to John's tent and tells him that she loves him and will never forget him, but things were simply not meant to be. He tells her that he will love her forever and think of her always, but that his ship leaves in the morning to return to England. Pocahontas goes Canoeing to clear her mind and think for a while. She is not happy with Kocoum, but she will be content and safe. John and Jane are talking in the shore before their ship is done loading, he takes her hands tells her he will be loyal and true from then on. She sees how hard and experienced his hands are from his many adventures and knows pocahontas would be better suited for holding his hands. John is talking to Thomas as their ship takes off, he envisions Pocahontas the first time he saw her, and knows deep in his heart, that she was truly the one for him. "I will find something more, someone I am made for, shame on you baby, forever yours..."
