Brushless WLToys 12428 Speed Runs (3s lipo): Fastest out there?

The Hobbywing 10BL60-SD ESC with the Quickrun 10.5 turn 3650 sensored motor combo I run is a sensored setup which runs counterclockwise (in forward mode) and incidentally this vehicle needs a clockwise running motor so I had to flip the diffs in the diff housings. To make that work you have to take a hobby knife and cut out a little plastic piece that is there specifically so you don’t accidentally put the diff in backwards. Sensored motors don’t allow you to swap cables to run reverse rotation like non sensors brushless motors, and setting transmitter to run in reverse switched the forward/reverse modes so it ran faster in reverse. Also tried to program the ESC to reverse the rotation by calibrating it backwards but that didn’t work either so flipping the diffs was really the only option. A decent amount of time and money went into this car and all the parts work together and it takes a while to get everything to mesh well like this. If you just want to buy a motor and ESC and throw 3s at it the stock drive train won’t hold up. There are also a lot of “upgraded” parts (especially driveshafts) out there that are pure junk and will fall apart on your first run guaranteed. I only found one driveshaft that will hold up and I will link it below and if you are looking for a more budget friendly motor/ESC combo look into the RacerStar 60A ESC and 3650 motor combo. I ran that in the 3900KV option before the hobbywing in it now and it is a fast budget option. Coggs more and obviously not gonna have the low end crawling speeds a sensored setup will get you but I think it may have been noticeably faster than the Hobbywing(never got a top speed reading on it but it was faster with the transmitter set to the medium speed setting so I’d assume top speed was faster as well) and its a whole lot cheaper.
