Experience the story 'before the story' through the eyes of a Cartel higher up whose world is about to change forever... Meet Santiago Murillo, alias Don Santo, a loyal member of the Colombian Cartel of many years, having served under multiple regimes over his tenure. Santiago owes his life to the Cartel, as he was found, fed and clothed by the organization as a child and that puts him in a difficult spot - will he trust his senses about the impending dangers up ahead or will he remain a loyal dutiful soldier? Catalina and Claude are two drifters who have offered their services to the Cartel since the start of 2001 to stay afloat in Liberty City, scraping by just to survive another day in the worst place in America. Together, they have stolen and killed to aid the Cartel's rising influence in the criminal underworld. Miguel is the 'gran jefe' of the Colombian Cartel - a weasel of a man who has found himself on top of an empire by accident rather than by charm or strategy. A loyal member of the Colombian Cartel for many years, Miguel has later found himself being promoted to captain, put in charge of overseeing large drug deals with Liberty City's various other factions. His plans proved to be hit or miss, as in 1998 he survived a near death experience at the hands of then Leone Crime Family foot soldier, Toni Cipriani. Miguel ultimately failed his way to the top by falling upwards in the aftermath of the death of the longtime Cartel leader, Cisco, as well as his lieutenant, in the gang power struggles of summer 2000. This video was a monumental task to handle for us, as it took over 40 hours to produce. We had to script animations, voice act a large amount of characters, repurpose mocap sequences, model interiors and special characters, create custom animations and so on.
