We went on a full-day safari in Wilpattu National Park, Sri Lanka — and it didn’t go as expected. What started as a peaceful ride through the jungle quickly turned uncomfortable when our driver began chasing a leopard 🐆. It felt wrong, so we asked him to stop. We didn’t come to stress out wildlife — we came for a real, ethical safari experience. From that moment, everything changed... We watched majestic eagles soar overhead 🦅 Spotted rare and colorful birdlife in the trees 🐦 Came face-to-face with a wild sloth bear 🐻 Had a calm, intimate leopard encounter — just us and one other vehicle 🐆 Ended the day with two elephants bathing peacefully in the lakes 🐘🌊 What began with doubt ended with awe.
