उपनल (उत्तराखंड पूर्व सैनिक कल्याण निगम लि ) के 22000 कर्मचारी कर्मचारी 10 नवम्बर से देहरादून के परेड ग्राउंड में अपने नियमतिकरण और समान काम के लिए समान वेतन की मांगों के लिए धरने पर बैठे हैं,इनमें से कई कर्मचारी ऐसे हैं जो अब सेवानिवृत होने की कगार पर हैं फिर भी अन्य उपनल कर्मियों के साथ धरनास्थल पर इस आस में बैठे हैं कि सरकार उनकी सुनेगी,हाई कोर्ट ने उपनल कर्मचारियों को चार महीने में ही नियुक्ति देने के आदेश दे दिए थे सरकार ने एक उपसमिति बनाई और जो इसकी जांच कर रही है उपनल कर्मी ना उपसमिति से खुश हैं ना सरकार की कार्यवाही से ,ऊपर से No work No Pay और अगले 6 महीने तक कोई भी धरना नहीं होगा ऐसे आदेश से अब आन्दोलन और भी उग्र होता नजर आ रहा है। आज 12वें दिन की ये रिपोर्ट देखिए और अपनी राय रखिए,आपकी एक छोटी सी कोशिश 22000 कर्मचारियों का भविष्य संवार सकती है। सरकार के No Work No Pay आदेश के बाद अब क्या बोले उपनल कर्मी ? 22,000 employees of UPNL (Uttarakhand Ex-Servicemen Welfare Corporation Ltd.) have been on strike since November 10th at the Parade Ground in Dehradun, demanding regularization and equal pay for equal work. Many of these employees are on the verge of retirement, yet they are sitting at the protest site with other UPNL employees, hoping that the government will listen to them. The High Court had ordered the appointment of UPNL employees within four months. The government formed a subcommittee, which is investigating the matter. UPNL employees are neither happy with the subcommittee nor with the government's actions.
