This is Gamer Guy (In a Suit) from the Echo Army YouTube channel! Today I am bringing you a review of the Team-Based, Mulitplayer Action Gore-Fest known as Depth. Depth recently celebrated it's 1st birthday on Steam and has been around since November 3rd, 2014. It was released by Developer/Publisher Digital Confectioners. (NOTE: This was a review from a game in my own Steam library, it was NOT provided by the Developer and/or Publisher) The "Too Long, Didn't Watch" Review: Great twist on the Team-Based Multiplayer experience. You can be a diver or a shark. What more can you ask for? 4.5/5, Grab the 4-pack (especially when it's on sale)! The "Meat & Potatoes" Review: Many of my friends know I am not a big fan of this style of game. I did play BF3 for a while and enjoyed it, and I did the CoD streams with Echo, but Team-Based Multiplayer games like this were never much more than average fare (for me). This beast, though. Man. This is what Evlove SHOULD have been. One team is the Divers, the other team is the Sharks. There are multiple game modes, I spent most of my time in the Blood & Gold mode (divers collect treasure and defend themselves, sharks eat divers). You can earn money/evolution points and upgrade your weapons and items or abilities as a shark. Really, talking about a game like this is frankly a waste of time. IT's something you have to play to enjoy. I typically am non-plussed by this style of game, but this one really is TONS of fun and took me back to the golden days of MultiPlayer gaming with my friends on Goldeneye and the like. This is cheaper, and better, than Evolve. The $24.99 or so that you can buy a 4-pack for during a Steam sale is an absolute steal. The graphics are great, the sounds add to the fun, the controls are simple. Add in neat skins and stuff (cosmetics), and it's a nice little game that seems to be picking up in community numbers. Give it a go and get in now while the community is growing. The Devs are active and the game still gets regular updates. This is the kind of game you cumulatively sink hundreds of hours to over time. 4.5/5 as it's still growing into that 5 that I am positive it will get to. Happy Gaming!!!
