If you've been following the channel for a while, then you know that a working turbo slant six has been my white whale for years now. In fact, while I've been contemplating this whacky idea for over a decade, it was April of 2023 when I first announced this project in a video and showed many of the components I would eventually go on to install on my 1963 Plymouth Valiant - most of which were discarded over time in favor of other components that didn't really work either. When I found this $500 Dodge truck for sale in my town, a new turbo slant test bed was not at all what I had in mind - but I quickly realized it was actually perfect. What does the same turbo setup do on a larger, completely stock and unknown 225 slant six? What's the tune situation like with this ridiculously large Holley 750 double pumper?
