I went down the river to catch some crayfish. I did catch a few crayfish with a couple of oversized monster crayfish in the mix. I love catching these huge over sized crays. These monsters are protected and with good reason, they will breed and repopulate the rivers. Murray crayfish, otherwise known as Spiny Murray Crayfish are the second largest freshwater crustacean in the world. They are found in Australia and are much different to the American signal crayfish, otherwise known as crawfish. Crawfish are much smaller and from what I understand, crawfish are found in a wider variety of habitats. I love watching American crawfishing videos.
