Lily Collins Lily Collins (Samantha) has already gained praise for her numerous roles in the industry and has become one of the most sought after young actresses in business. Collins made her film debut in the 2010 Academy Award® nominated film THE BLIND SIDE along side Sandra Bullock and Tim McGraw. Collins has begun production on THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS: CITY OF BONES, playing the lead in the first film based on the best-selling series of young adult fantasy books by Cassandra Clare. Directed by Harald Zwart, the Sony Pictures film follows Collins as Clary Fray, a young girl whose mom is attacked and taken from their home in New York City by an unknown creature, and sets out on an adventurous quest into an alternate New York of demons, warlocks, vampires and more. Collins will return to the theaters next in the independent film THE ENGLISH TEACHER starring opposite Julianne Moore, Nathan Lane and Greg Kinnear. The film follows an English teacher as her life is disrupted when a former student returns to her small town after failing as a playwright in New York. Collins was last seen in the classic fairytale MIRROR MIRROR directed by Tarsem Singh as the lead Snow White with an all-star cast including Julia Roberts as the Evil Queen and Armie Hammer as Prince Andrew Alcott; and in ABDUCTION where she starred opposite Taylor Lautner, Sigourney Weaver, and Alfred Molina.
