Setting up my Pelican Trek 60 Sled

Hello Everyone and Welcome! In this video, I have bought a new sled to pull my gear behind me when out on my snowshoes, The Pelican Trek 60. I have been using the Pelican 40 for the past few years and I find it too short for an overnighter. I have to pile my gear too high and it makes the sled very top heavy. I am hoping the Trek 60 will be just long enough to lower the center of gravity and keep from tipping over as often. The sled only comes with a short rope to pull it. Today I will drill some holes around the sled and weave a rope through, essentially making handles I can use to secure the load and keep my gear protected. On my next overnight stay I will see how well it handles the load and if I find the pull rope too short I can always change it for a longer one. Please, join me for this adventure!
