Like I didn't try my best, to make the most of this, I'm just trying to make it clear. (Billy) Maybe, it's just the memories that cloud my mind, & I just find it such a waste of my time, To spend so many of these moments on you, When I know in my heart, There's so much more that I could do. I know you're listening, But I just wish you tried to care, That I spent all of my time here, & now I'm trapped here, For an eternity, & it's just draining me. I tried to let everything go, I know sometimes it's hard & I grow distant, That's the furthest from myself that I have been, Or that I ever let myself go, But sometimes it's hard to try to disregard, How my spirit has been broken, But I feel: All of this time has been wasted, Dreaming of everything we could be. Maybe you've noticed, (But probably haven't) I think I'm starting to lose sight of me. (Liam) I try to stay positive, but I'm telling the truth. As much as I preach it, I will never be able to fully carry it out myself, Because a part of me enjoys this, Like it allows me to see a new perspective. Like if I let go of that dark that resides within me, I will never get to feel the light of the warmth that protects me, & even that is so hard to accept.
