The Ratel IFV series are South African light tanks that are found in the British tech tree in War Thunder. In todays episode I'm playing the requested Ratel 20 and I'm covering a match with the Ratel 90. Both of these tin cans don't have much too offer except for it's huge size. Ratel 90 has a heat slinger that can be quite useful in penetrating scary WWII tanks like the king tiger, IS-2's and other thicc targets that you will face, on the other hand - the Ratel 20 trades its heat slinger for a 20mm cannon that does a good job at being a barrel and track barber, additionally it has a MILAN ATGM weapons system strapped on the turret which slices a thick chunk of armor if you hit the enemy tank successfully. The vehicle offers no armor and mediocre mobility for a light tank. Overall I wouldn't come back to this tank. #warthunder #wt #gaijin
