Hedgehog babys & mom (timelapse) - Sept. 29, 2022

This wild hedgehog family with 7 babies leaves the old nest and moves to a hedgehog house. Why does the family move? The old nest is located on a reed bed, which belongs to a constructed wetland. We had to cut back the reed a few days before (annual maintenance of the plant), so that it would sprout again next year and fortunately discovered the nest in time. At that point, no one knew if the nest was being used, but we left it for safety. With a camera we observed that there was a whole family in the nest. The young ones started to explore the surroundings a short time later. Three days later the mother decided to move with the babies to a hedgehog house a few meters away.
