Minecraft: Getting to the End Installment #14 Still in the Nether Fortress, this installment starts out by making the route to the Blaze spawner safer by sealing up unused hallways. This is as simple as blocking them with cobblestone, using wooden doors where necessary. There are no Zombies in the Nether, only Zombie Pigmen which will leave you alone if you do them no harm. So there shouldn't be any mobs which can break down wood doors. I finish enclosing the hallway right outside of the Blaze spawner. This lets me farm blaze rods by hiding behing columns of cobblestone until they get close, then jumping out and dispatching them with an iron sword. By the end of the installment I have more than enough blaze rods to find an Overworld Fortress and open the End portal. http://minecraft.jumptuck.com
