Solo Motorcycle Adventure Trip to the Red Centre of Australia on Suzuki V Strom 1000 | S1-E19

On day two of my twelve days journey to Yulara NT and back home, I travelled from Mildura VIC to Port Augusta SA and visited some of the attractions in Renmark SA and Burra SA. In this trip, I am riding my 2019 Suzuki V-Strom 1000 XT and the trip is a Solo Ride. About Uluru: Rising dramatically from the Central Australian desert, the huge red rock of Uluru is one of Australia's most iconic attractions. Uluru is made of sandstone about half a billion years old. It stands 348 metres high and has a circumference of 9.4 km. Yamba Quarantine Centre Plan your travel to avoid a fine. Paringa SA Paringa is a medium-sized town on the Murray River which in recent years has almost become a suburb of Renmark. It proudly claims to be the first town visitors reach in South Australia when they cross the border from the eastern states. The town's primary appeal is related to the Murray - it is ideal for houseboat hiring; for inspecting the unusual suspension bridge; for hiring kayaks and canoes; and for just mooching along the banks. Renmark SA Renmark, located on the Murray River, is a prosperous town in the heart of rich Riverland area where limes, olives, apricots, grapes, plums, garlic and oranges are all grown. Like so many towns in the area Renmark is characterised by wide streets and handsome riverbank parklands. This is a town where it is possible to enjoy the majesty of the Murray by hiring a bicycle and cycling along the riverbank; hiring a canoe or kayak and paddling along the river; or visiting the historic boats - the PS Industry and Argo Barge - moored at the river's edge. Burra SA Burra, which calls itself 'An Historic Copper Town and the Merino Capital of the World', is a unique township. It did not become an official entity until 1940 when the tiny, separate mining communities of Aberdeen, New Aberdeen, Kooringa, Llwchwr, Redruth and Graham were drawn together under the name Burra. It was declared a State Heritage town in 1994 because of its wealth of outstanding historic buildings and the opportunity it offers for the visitor to understand a little of what life was like in a 19th century copper mining town. Burra is on the edge of marginal land. It is a pretty and historic town where the visitor can easily spend a full day exploring the town's rich mining history. Port Augusta SA Port Augusta has a number of attractions which are enjoyed by visitors to the city as well as residents. Fishing, sailing and canoeing are popular and dolphins are often seen out on the water. The city's art galleries are enjoyed by many and the parks and gardens offer a beautiful place to relax. Wadlata Outback Centre is home to the region's Visitor Information Centre, and is also one of the city's most popular tourist attractions with its Tunnel of Time interactive display. The Australian Arid Lands Botanic Garden is another major attraction, featuring more than 200 hectares of low-rainfall native Australian plants, which can be purchased from gift and garden shop in its visitor centre.
