This one came in with no “complaint” at all — just an older, seasoned player who’s always been more of a Strat/Les Paul guy, and this PRS Hollowbody never really clicked for him. So instead of chasing a single problem, this was a full “second chance” setup: make it feel right, sound right, and actually inspire someone to pick it up again. What I did in this setup Swapped strings 9–46 → 11–48 (standard tuning) Checked/adjusted neck relief Set action and dialed in feel Intonated the bridge for accurate pitch up the neck Checked the nut (lube-first unless it truly needs cutting) Before/after play test through my little Yamaha THR demo amp If you’ve got a guitar that’s been sitting in the case because it just feels “off”… this one’s for you.
