Old Fashioned Popcorn Balls. Truly a special treat for everyone😊

Popcorn balls bring me back to my childhood when my mom used to have me help her in the kitchen making them & then go out & sell them around my neighborhood. Oh the memories. Now i make these for my kids & i know that they will always remember how good they are. You can add color & flavoring for a better treat! Recipe here:👇 8 cups popcorn 1/2 cup white sugar 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar 1/4 cup light corn syrup 1/4 cup butter 1/4 cup water pinch of salt Food color Candy thermometer Gloves Cooking Spray Spatula Wax paper DO NOT DOUBLE THIS RECIPE. It will not work. Just make seperate batches Add 8 cups of popcorn to a large bowl In a sauce pan add all ingredients except the popcorn(dnt forget the food dye) On med/ high heat let it cook without stirring(do not stir) You want this to reach 240 on a candy thermometer Once its reached that point quickly remove from heat & pour it all over the popcorn. Using a spatula sprayed with cooking spray mix it all over making sure all the popcorn is covered. Now i use gloves for this next part: Grease hands or gloves with cooking spray & start making balls. I got 5 out of this recipe Place on a wax paper & let it cool Once cooled store in a bag Enjoy❤ ✅use a candy thermometer for accurate results ✅grease the spatula & your gloves so the candy syrup does not stick 💞Thank you for watching!
