Businesses, family, community. But when I look around now I see exactly what I saw growing up in post-communist Eastern Europe. Trains that don't show up. Public services falling apart. Crime everywhere. People just getting by. No hope for tomorrow. I lived through this already. I know how it ends. The people who can leave, will leave. That's what happened in Eastern Europe. That's what's starting to happen here now. I think the Europe we knew is done. The future of immigration is about to flip. People won't be coming here anymore. They'll be leaving. And our kids will be the ones looking elsewhere for a better life.
