We'll go through a top level explanation of how voice leading works when we're playing improvised solos over chord changes. Then, I'll take you through an example of what I've come to call a "voice leading pathway," that can act as a thru line for your solos. After that, we'll go through a few different ways of filling in lines and getting your ear involved with the process of turning the pathway into a fully realized solo.
