In water, word, and holy vow, A household joins the covenant now! We passed through Amphipolis… Thessalonica… Berea… Some believed… some drove us out… But the word of God grew mightily. In Athens’ halls of crafted gods, We spoke of truth the world had lost “The Unknown God whom ye adore— Him declare we evermore.” From Mars’ Hill stone to Corinth’s shore, The Lord declared, “Fear not anymore I have much people in this town— Preach my word and don’t back down.” Oh, the Lord is opening doors! Not by sword, but by His word! From jailer’s house to scholar’s hall, The risen Christ is Lord of all! Oh, the Lord is opening doors! Through every land, through every shore! With priesthood voice and faithful flame, We testify of Jesus’ name! Called by vision… sent by grace… Step by step… from place to place… …Philippi… Thessalonica… Berea… Athens… Corinth… And the Lord was with them.
