And tonight, you're closer to the edge than you've ever been. *But before you do anything—hear this:* Prophet Yunus عليه السلام was swallowed by a whale. Trapped in the belly, in the ocean, in the night—three layers of total darkness. No light. No air. No escape. He was convinced this was the end. But from the deepest pit of complete hopelessness, he called out: لَّا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا أَنتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ "There is no deity except You; exalted are You. Indeed, I have been of the wrongdoers." And Allah answered: فَاسْتَجَبْنَا لَهُ وَنَجَّيْنَاهُ مِنَ الْغَمِّ ۚ وَكَذَٰلِكَ نُنجِي الْمُؤْمِنِينَ "So We responded to him and saved him from the distress. **And thus We save the believers.**" (Quran 21:87-88) Read that last line again: "And THUS We save the believers." The same way Allah saved Yunus—from the belly of a whale, from three layers of darkness, from certain death—He saves YOU. This verse is not just history. It's a promise. To YOU. Tonight. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 📖 THE VERSE THAT SAVES: Surah Al-Anbiya (21:87-88) لَّا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا أَنتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ فَاسْتَجَبْنَا لَهُ وَنَجَّيْنَاهُ مِنَ الْغَمِّ ۚ وَكَذَٰلِكَ نُنجِي الْمُؤْمِنِينَ "There is no deity except You; exalted are You. Indeed, I have been of the wrongdoers. So We responded to him and saved him from the distress. And thus We save the believers." ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🕊️ THE PROPHET'S PROMISE ABOUT THIS DU'A: The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: *"The du'a of Dhun-Nun (Yunus) when he was in the belly of the whale: 'There is no deity except You; exalted are You. Indeed, I have been of the wrongdoers.' No Muslim calls upon Allah with this du'a for anything except that Allah will answer him."* (Tirmidhi) Read that again: NO MUSLIM calls with this EXCEPT that Allah WILL answer. Not "might." Not "could." WILL. This is a divine guarantee. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 💔 IF YOU'RE AT THE EDGE RIGHT NOW: *What you're feeling is real.* Depression lies. Chemical imbalance lies. Trauma lies. They tell you: "This is permanent. There's no way out. You're a burden." ALL LIES. *What's also real:* You clicked on this video—part of you still wants to live That part, however small, is the REAL you The suicidal part is the illness talking You are not your depression *The Islamic view on suicide:* Islam teaches that life is sacred—YOUR life included. The pain you feel is not your fault. Having suicidal thoughts doesn't make you a bad Muslim. It makes you a human in crisis. The Prophet ﷺ himself experienced deep grief. When his son Ibrahim died, he wept. When his wife Khadijah died, he mourned for years. When he was rejected in Taif, he was devastated. *Feeling pain ≠ weak faith. Wanting it to stop ≠ sin.
