SOTAmat is a system that automates SOTA and POTA activities for Amateur Radio (Ham Radio) operators. See other videos for what SOTAmat can do and how it works.This is a detailed video (long!) showing how a newbie can get started with SOTAmat using SOTAmat's 1-way commands (sent over HF to PSKreporter monitoring stations for execution of commands). You use these 1-way commands when you don't have internet, cellular, or satellite service (totally off-grid) to self-spot SOTA or POTA, or post a SOTA Alert for RBNhole, or send pre-defined eMail or SMS message.
