Our first impressions for Windrose (formerly Crosswind), an upcoming pirate survival RPG inspired by Valheim and Enshrouded, with base building, sailing, and soulslite combat. The game is in development and this is a closed alpha test, but feels way better than this! The development roadmap is packed and more multiplayer features will arrive in future updates, including shared PvE activities, PvP, and other larger multiplayer systems! Windrose will have online co-op for up to 4 players and MMO-style hubs. It is set to be free-to-play, but this could change.
