the truth about awakening - awakening/non-duality/progressive path

Hello wonderful people, thank you for being here! I thought I would do a follow on from my previous video which was about ending seeking. And by that I mean the ending of seeking the underlying beliefs and thoughts and emotions around difficult experience. To instead let go of all that and go straight back to source/truth. Which is the predominant 'teaching' if you will of the non-dual path. I was reminded by a wonderful subscriber that I of course am in a place where I can 'end seeking' for I have let go of a lot of my attachments to the world. To believing that it is important. To believing that my sense of safety and beingness comes from it. I myself have had to do years of inner work. Years of breaking down false beliefs and letting them go. Of shifting/clearing my energy. And all of this helped me to recognise more and more my true nature. To shed more and more of my egoic attachments. However, this doesn't mean that the difficult emotions have not gone. The unpleasant thoughts have vanished. Or that life has become sunshine and rainbows and I walk amongst abundance and a brilliant life. For truly the only person saying life is brilliant by owning x, y and z is the ego. No None of this has happened. I still have bills to pay. Mouths to feed etc. Instead what has happened is that I am able to witness and observe these fearful thoughts. To recognise and know that they are not the truth of who I am. To feel into the expansive peaceful space of awareness and take my security and safety from there. This is freedom! This is awakening! It's a letting go of identity to body. To separate self. And an embracing of the truth. However, you will still go on to be in the body. The body will still think and feel, however, you will not be attached to this. The non-dual path offers us a way to get to this place quickly. And it's beautiful and valid in so many ways. However, it doesn't allow us to let go of the ego. To let go of the thoughts and feelings. In order to do that we must heal ourselves with love. With forgiveness. With accepting 100% responsibility for our lives, ourselves and the world we live in. No easy task. But it is definitely doable with deep inner work and healing. The 'easy', the 'quick' or the 'fast' route - any desire for that is just ego desiring more ego. It wants to keep you stuck in a perpetual loop. To let it go you must heal it.
