An event for the whole family. The Ford Anglia was a car manufactured by Ford in the United Kingdom. It is a model related to the Ford Prefect and the later Ford Popular. The Ford Anglia name refers to four car models manufactured between 1939 and 1967. 1,594,486 Anglias were manufactured before being replaced by the Ford Escort. The Willys MB is a four-wheel-drive off-road vehicle developed and manufactured by the American company Willys-Overland Motors. Its design was not based on any other type of vehicle, and was conceived in response to a 1941 call from the US military high command to provide its troops with a lightweight, all-wheel-drive vehicle for transporting soldiers across the front lines, over any type of terrain. Despite having met the requirements of the competition and having won the bid for its production, the Willys had a very limited production capacity due to having suffered the ravages of the Great Depression, so the license was extended to the Ford Motor Company to collaborate with the production of the same vehicle, emerging from this collaboration the Ford GPW, twin of the Willys MB.
