Hello everyone! I would like to present my first ever piece that I was able to showcase at this past spring semester Dance @ Vista dance concert! I was very nervous but excited but please enjoy and thank you for watching!!! About the Piece: This is an original choreography I created, inspired by the hit television show and video game series called “The Last of Us.” Through this piece, I explored a fusion of dance styles. from the striking and passionate movements of Flamenco, with the fluid expressiveness of contemporary and modern movements, and just a hint of ballet technique. This piece tells a story of a broken landscape, through the struggle and beauty of survival Credits: Choreography: Lorenzo Lopez Dancer(s): Northwest Vista Reportary Dance Company ( Under the direction of Brittany Lopez ) Videography: Ryan Bazan (RBFilms) ryanbazan@yahoo.com Lighting design: Shannon Parker Stage Manager : Nancy Yanez Thumbnail and photographer: Sharon Milford Music: “The Last of Us Main theme” by composer Gustavo Santaolalla - I do not own the rights to this music I would like to also give credit to music covers of this medley of songs that I edited and arranged with other clips presented by people that I found here on YouTube.
